University Tire and Auto Center Inc. is a locally owned and family operated business which traces its roots back to the 1970s.

University Firestone was founded in the early 1970s by Bobby Inscoe and his brother, Frank Inscoe. The company grew through the 1980s into fourteen locations before being sold and the brothers retired. In 1995, a second generation of the family moved in to the tire and automotive service industry. Bobby Inscoe's son, David Inscoe, and son-in-law, Larry Williams, opened there store in Seminole Square Shopping Center. David Inscoe retired in 2005 and Larry Williams carries on the family tradition today.

Located at 200 Seminole Court, University Tire and Auto Center Inc. is a full service tire and automotive service center. We service both foreign and domestic vehicles and carry all major tire brands. From tires, oil changes, factory-scheduled maintenance, major repairs, or a Virginia State Inspection, we're your one stop facility. We are nationally affiliated with other independent tire and automotive service centers. All of our work carries a nation-wide warranty.

We offer complementary shuttle service to and from your local destination and loaner cars with a major service appointment. For our customers who would like to wait for there vehicle, we offer a television lounge area. For our business customers, we offer wireless internet connection, along with two work stations.

University Tire and Auto Center maintains a state-of-the-art facility with the most updated equipment. We have 20 full time employees, including two service managers, three service writers, eight automotive technicians, five tire technicians, and two shuttle drivers. Our employees are well trained with the most updated training available and therir technical degrees are displayed proudly in our showroom.

Owner Larry Williams attributes the company's success to the local family ownership and having concerns of their customers, employees, and our community in which we live.
